How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are usually picked and dispatched within 1–2 business days. We use New Zealand Couriers and delivery times vary depending on your location, but most NZ orders arrive within 2–5 business days.

Do you ship everyday?

We don’t send parcels on Fridays so your order won’t sit in a courier depot over the weekend.

We don't do Saturday deliveries unfortunately.

Is there free shipping available?

Yes, free shipping is available when you spend over $99.00. Otherwise, standard rates apply at checkout.

 

Can I return or exchange my order?
Because our products are food items, we can’t accept returns for change of mind. If there’s an issue with your order (damaged goods, incorrect items), please contact us within 7 days and we’ll put it right.

 

Where do our spices come from?

We work with a small group of New Zealand–based spice traders who share our passion for quality and flavour. Our blends are made in small batches to ensure freshness and full flavour in every pack.

 

How should I store my salts and spices?
Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Make sure lids are tightly closed to keep the flavours fresh.

 

How long do your products last?
Our blends are best enjoyed within 12–18 months of purchase. While they won’t “go off” quickly, the flavour may fade if stored for too long.

Are your products natural?
Yes, our salts and spice blends are made from 100% natural ingredients, with no artificial additives, preservatives, or fillers.

Are your products gluten-free/vegan?
Most of our blends are naturally gluten-free and vegan. Check the product description for specific details.

Do you ship internationally?
At the moment we ship within New Zealand and Australia. If you’re outside these areas, get in touch with us and we’ll see what we can do.

Why are some products out of stock?

We make everything in small batches to keep it fresh. Because of this, and with our products available in multiple places, items can sell out quickly. Sometimes your order may take a little longer while we prepare the next batch.

Why aren’t you making avocado oil right now?
In recent years, environmental challenges have affected avocado harvests, and at the same time, the company who produced our oil for us went into liquidation. For now, we’ve focused our energy on creating our artisan salts, seasonings and flavour blends, but avocado oil will always be part of our story and something we’d love to return to when the time is right.

Where does your Avocado Oil come from?

​​Our avocados are grown in Maungatapere, Northland, New Zealand on our own orchards. Most of our avocados are exported but before we pack them up and ship them off we select the finest plumpest fruit to create our oil.

​

Avocado oil is made by taking the pulp (the creamy insides of the fruit) and pressing it in a centrifuge (a drum that spins at high speed), which separates both the oil and the water from the pulp. The oil comes to the top and is then removed and filtered. It takes approximately 15 to 20 avocados to make a 250ml bottle of oil.

​​Not only does avocado oil deliver a hearty amount of fatty acids beneficial to your keto diet, but it also enhances nutrient absorption and helps promote better cholesterol levels.

 

What's the benefits of Avocado Oil?

• Has one of the highest levels of heart-healthy monounsaturated fats (in comparison with other oils)

• Up to four times more beta-sitosterol than olive oil, to assist in lowering cholesterol

• High levels of alpha- and beta-carotene, which protect against heart disease and cancer

• An excellent source of lutein (up to four times more than olive oil), which helps protect against muscular degeneration and blindness

• One of the few plant sources, and the highest, of CoQ10 (natural antioxident and generates energy within cells), equal to that of most meats

• Avocado Oil ranks highest in monounsaturated fat, vitamin E, lutein, CoQ10, plant sterols and glutathione

• A much higher smoke point than other extra virgin oils

​​At the moment you can purchase our oils here online or we will be at some markets and craft food shows through out the country. You can shop by using the Shop Now button on the home page, by selecting Shop Now in the menu above.

Payment and Shipping

​You can make payment directly through the website or by depositing directly into our bank account. Once you have placed your order and payment has been received, we will process it as quickly as possible.  We will courier your order anywhere within NZ. Our primary courier is NZ Post however from time to time we will use other couriers. Once your order is ready to be shipped you will receive an email with a track and trace number on it for you to track your shipment. Please note that we aim to have your order to you within a 3 to 5 business days. NZ Post often has delays so please bear with us. If there are any problems or last minute out of stocks when we process your order, we will contact you to discuss.
